PUTREFACTIVE
EFFECT #2
The
first issue of PUTREFACTIVE EFFECT was very average,
with its load of mistakes, but you can be sure that
this new one is much better! Mister Improvement shew
its ugly face at the corner of many paths of putrifications:
First of all, the layout is better (with a smaller text
size and fewer blank spaces), then the content in itself
contains more putridity (Understand the interviews are
longer, and the reviews sound cooler), then there's
more content! (More reviews and more interviews). This
is really cool to see a paper zine that choose to focus
on Death metal and (Old styled) brutal death the underground
way, and putrefies with a quite good state of mind (It's
cool, but not too friendly nor devoid of opinions...),
because so many of the current fanzines are focused
on raw'n kvlt'n ancient black metal, or old school as
fucking humanly possible thrashy'n sleepy death metal
that it turns out to be boring... Underground means
diversity. Fuck the unidirectional molds of convenience
and tranquillity! More Death metal is needed everywhere!
Of corpse, the zine isn't perfect yet, since it
could be a little more critical, some inties could be
longer and with more "mind-digging" questions,
and some layouts cool definitely kill the undead...
But all in all I'm satisfied with this new DEATH METAL
issue, and I wish PUTREFACTIVE EFFECT will keep on progressing
and feed us with the vile deformities of the deep underground!
PUTREFACTION RISES, AGAIN!
