ZINES SPECIAL

PAPER OR VIRTUAL, WHICH ONE IS
THE MOST DRUNK?!

Since the fact of running a zine on the web seems more and more bound in metallic taboos, since some big promotional "metal webzines" always refuse to let the readers and other activists know about the way a zine works from the inside, since you're always said or suggested somethings like "You're too curious! It's NOT interesting", "You're too subjective, please be educated and never have an opinion"  or "Let us do our 'job', we promote and help all the labels our mouth full of honey"... when you're not immediately censored on their niiice forums while you only try to discuss calmly... It was needed to know more about the way zines build their reviews, as well as their way of considering objectivity, how they deal with promos and other things related.
I decided to interview mostly paper fanzines since those underground publications ofently have more personality than webzines, are (currently) submited to less pressure in terms of labels' promotional targets... and because we need more fanzines!! Only paper is real!
Hope these interviews will help you to understand a bit more how various zines work as well as some zine-makers' opinions about the underground.
